The Young Professional Outreach Committee is dedicated to advancing education and awareness of laboratory automation across the broader community. We engage with audiences at every stage of their journey — from K–12 students and undergraduate and graduate researchers to early career professionals — whether they are just discovering the field or actively pursuing a career within it.
Through career fairs, STEAM expos, and panel discussions, our members share their expertise and enthusiasm for laboratory automation with the next generation of scientists and engineers. We also partner with local initiatives such as ATWIN and Cambridge STEAM to connect our industry network with established educational programs, facilitating on-site tours and hands-on experiences that bring the field to life.
Our goal is simple: to inspire curiosity, open doors, and help build the future workforce of laboratory automation.
