2018 Education Grant Winners

The Laboratory Robotics Interest Group of New England is very pleased to announce five winners of our Education Grants!  Each successful project will be funded in the amount of $2000.00.  The competition was very strong this year and we want to thank all of the applicants for the high quality proposals!

    • An introduction to Programming with Robots for high school students
    • Materials to expand VEX EDR program

    • Designing Versatile and Adaptable Robots
    • Materials for expansion of robotics program
  • WL Chenery Middle School
    • Belmont, MA
    • Introducing Protein Modeling Kits to Increase Project Based Learning in the 8th Grade Life Science Curriculum
    • Funding for Edgerton Center’s protein modeling sets
